
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- Meg Dubois and Kacey Lawniczak scored first-half goals to lift the Siena Heights women's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference opponent Lawrence Tech on Saturday. The Saints have won three straight games.
Dubois took advantage of a Blue Devil giveaway to put SHU ahead, 1-0, in the 17th minute. Later, Lawniczak pounded a shot from 25 yards away in the 43rd.
Winning goalkeeper Ashley Elliott had one save for the Saints (7-6-1, 3-2-0) while Heather Derstine stopped 10 shots for Lawrence Tech (6-6-0, 1-4-0).
The Saints will play again on Saturday when they host Concordia for a 1 p.m. WHAC contest.
