JOLIET, Ill. -- Nicole Yeip scored the Saints' lone goal as the Siena Heights women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision against non-conference opponent Saint Francis (Ill.) on Sunday.
Yeip's goal came during the 69th minute for SHU (1-4), trimming a 2-0 SFU lead in half.
Brooke Polus scored all three goals for the Fighting Saints (4-0), tallying during the 17th, 67th and 86th minutes.
Siena Heights starting goalkeeper Crystal Wilcoxen made three saves before she was relieved by Ashley Elliott, who stopped two shots.
Saint Francis goalie Amanda Coleman had six saves for the win.
SHU will return to action on with a 4:30 p.m. non-conference home match against Saint Xavier (Ill.).
