MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Madison Phillips scored the lone Siena Heights goal as the Saints' women's soccer team tied Bethel (Ind.), 1-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday.
With SHU trailing 1-0, Phillips scored during the 25th minute with an assist from Alexis Donnelly.
Meagan McPherson had scored the Pilots' goal in the 22nd, getting an assist from Nicole Steller.
Crystal Wilcoxen started in net for the Saints and made six saves. Ashley Elliott stopped seven shots during the second half and extra time.
For Bethel (3-3-2), Mallory Conrad had 12 saves.
The Saints (2-4-1) will return to action with a 4:30 p.m. non-conference home contest against Cleary.
