ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team earned a 12-8 victory over Saint Ambrose during non-conference action Tuesday at O'Laughlin Stadium.

Jenna Allie led the Saints (4-4) with four goals and two assists.

Maitland Fuentes added three goals, Danielle Turner totaled two goals and two assists, and Grace Holland finished with one goal and two assists.

Abbey Scott and Megan Gibbs also had SHU goals. Gibbs added five draw controls and two caused turnovers.

Brooke Burchfield made 12 saves for the win.

Siena Heights opened the game on a 3-1 run and never trailed after that. The Fighting Bees pulled within one goal twice after that, but never closed into a tie.

Siena Heights will return to play Saturday at cross-town rival Adrian. Opening draw is 7 p.m.
