
ALMA, Mich. -- Danielle Turner totaled four goals and two assists, including the game-tying and game-winning goals, as the Siena Heights women's lacrosse team defeated NCAA Division III opponent Alma on Saturday.
The Saints, who trailed by as many as four goals, closed the game on a 6-1 run. Turner tied the game with 23 seconds left before scoring the winner 5:18 into extra-time.
Grace Holland also scored four goals for SHU (2-3). Jenna Allie added two goals and Abbey Scott, Anna Heath and Lauren Thomas tallied one goal each.
Allie and Megan Gibbs controlled three draws apiece. Ava Lazzareschi had three groundballs and two caused turnovers.
Brooke Burchfield was the winning goalie with 14 saves.
Siena Heights will play next when it opens WHAC play at Lawrence Tech on Saturday, Mar. 15. Opening draw is 1 p.m.
