ANGOLA, Ind.-- The Siena Heights women's golf team opened up the season by finishing fifth place at The Trine Invitational on Monday at Zollner Golf Course. Trine won the tournament with a total score of 316. 

The Saints shot a total team score of 349 to tie for fifth place with Grace College. Skylar Whitman led the scoring for SHU, finishing seventh place with an 82 on the overall individual leaderboard. 

The Saints will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at The Albion Invitational.
