
OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team tied with host Lourdes for first place in the Lourdes Invitational held at The Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake, Michigan on Wednesday afternoon.
The Saints and Gray Wolves each finished with a team score of 345 (+57) on the afternoon to claim possession of the top spot. Michigan-Dearborn was third with a 355. Northwestern Ohio was fourth with a 358 and Cleary was fifth with a 361. Aquinas finished one stroke behind the Cougars for sixth and St. Clair community college rounded out the round with a 438 for seventh.
Megan Paczac led the way for the Saints with a final score of 80 (+8) to finish second in the individual standings. Bethany Nowak was a stroke behind (81) to tie for third. Skylar Whitman registered an 89 to finish 15th and Chelsea Kovoch tied for 18th with a 95. Isabelle Sparks fell to a tie in 28th with a 98 and Danielle Denomme completed the scoring for SHU with a 105 to tie in 39th.
