OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team finished second at the Lourdes Invitational on Wednesday afternoon. The Saints scored a 330 as a team to fall one stroke short of tying for the top spot. Junior Jaclyn Fanola (Monroe, Mich.) tied for second place with a score of 78 (+6) for the tournament.

Senior Madisyn Reed (Adrian, Mich.) shot an 80 (+8) to finish fourth. Junior Dakota Spears (Hudsonville, Mich.) finished with an 84 (+12) to claim eighth place. Bethany Novak (Fr., Britton, Mich.) tallied an 88 (+16) to tie for 14th individually. Gabby Anderson (Sr., Fraser, Mich.) finished the top-five SHU players with a 93 (+21) to tie for 23rd in the individual standings.

The Saints will compete this Saturday and Sunday, Septemeber 7-8 at the Defiance College Invitational at the Ironwood Golf Course in Wauseon, Ohio. Day one is scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m., EDT. Day two will start at 9:00 a.m., EDT.
