DEFIANCE, Ohio -- The Siena Heights women's golf team won the Defiance Spring Invitational tournament with a team score of 314 (+26). Dakota Spears highlighted the outing for the Saints with an even-par score of 72 to win the tournament.

Jaclyn Fanola finished two strokes behind Spears with a 74 (+2). Amy Nordstrom finished tied for sixth with a final score of 81 (+9). Madisyn Reed tallied an 87 (+15) which tied her for the 16th spot on the individual table.

Emily Witaszek rounded out the top-five Siena scores on the day with a 90 (+18) to contribute to the win.

Siena will travel to compete in the Aquinas College Saints Spring Classic on Monday, April 8.
