Women's Hoops Drops Heartbreaker To UNOH In WHAC Quarters

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team suffered a 74-66 overtime loss to Northwestern Ohio in the WHAC Tournament quarterfinals on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Kanyla Tyler led the Saints with 17 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals. E'Anna Won added 12 points, six assists, three steals and two blocks.

Also for SHU (17-12), Brooke Rebman scored 12 points and Sarrinah Ajami grabbed 11 rebounds.

The teams played through 13 lead changes and the margin never entered double-figures. SHU led by as many as six points while UNOH's largest lead was in the final score.

Rebman hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to send the game to overtime.

In the extra period, Tyler gave the Saints a 63-61 lead before UNOH hit back-to-back 3s to go ahead for good.
