
ADRIAN, Mich. -- E'Anna Won became the 14th Siena Heights women's basketball player to record 1,000 career points as the Saints defeated Michigan-Dearborn, 81-38, in Saturday's WHAC action at the SHU Fieldhouse.
Won finished with 16 points, pushing herself to 1,002 points as a Saint.
Sarrinah Ajami added a double-double worth 18 points and 13 rebounds. Kanyla Tyler scored 11 points and Jam Thigpen totaled nine points and 12 rebounds.
SHU outscored Dearborn in all four quarters, taking a 28-10 lead through the first. Ajami had eight points and five rebounds in that opening stretch while Won compiled eight points, two assists, two rebounds and one steal.
Siena Heights (13-10, 10-5) will return to action Wednesday with a 5:30 p.m. WHAC game at Defiance.
