
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team lost a 61-52 contest to Aquinas on Wednesday.
E'Anna Won had 15 points, five steals and two assists to lead the Saints (12-11, 9-6) while Brooke Rebman and Sarrinah Ajami grabbed six rebounds apiece.
The game was a tale of two halves as SHU took a 34-18 halftime lead before host Aquinas (16-7, 13-2) rallied back to outscore Siena Heights 43-18 in the second half.
SHU's largest lead was 36-18 before Aquinas began chipping away. The hosts gained their first second-half lead, 47-46, with 5:31 to go.
A layup by Won gave the Saints a 50-49 edge with 3:30 left before Aquinas surged ahead for good with a 10-0 run.
Siena Heights will return to action on Saturday with a 3 p.m. WHAC game versus Michigan-Dearborn.
