
ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team returned from its winter break with a 66-46 win over WHAC opponent Madonna on Saturday at the SHU Fieldhouse.
Madison Vice led the Saints (8-7, 5-2) with 15 points and three assists while Brooke Rebman totaled 12 points.
Also for SHU, Sarrinah Ajami had eight rebounds, E'Anna Won made five steals and Emma Tooley dished four assists.
Siena Heights led the entire way after opening the game with a 6-0 run.
Leading 16-13 after the first quarter, the Saints opened the second with an 8-0 streak, including six points by Vice.
Siena Heights took a 32-17 advantage into halftime and held its lead in double-figures the rest of the way.
The Saints will return to action on Wednesday at WHAC opponent Concordia.
