
LIMA, Ohio -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team had four scorers in double-figures and defeated Northwestern Ohio, 84-81, in WHAC competition on Wednesday night.
E'Anna Won led the way with 21 points, five assists, five steals and three blocks. Madison Vice added 20 points.
Lauren DeWolf scored 15 points, Brooke Rebman put in 10 points and Jam Thigpen hauled down 10 rebounds.
Vice scored 12 consecutive points for SHU (7-7, 4-2) in the fourth quarter, connecting on four 3-pointers in the process. She broke 68-68 and 71-71 ties. Her next two 3s stretched leads out to 77-71 and 80-75.
The host Racers (12-3, 5-2) pulled within 82-81 with less than a minute left. Won hit a pair of free throws to push the lead back to three and the Siena Heights defense held on UNOH's final possession.
The Saints will return to play on Saturday, Jan. 4, with a home game against Madonna.
