ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team lost a 63-58 WHAC contest to Aquinas on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse.
E'Anna Won led the Saints (2-4, 1-1) with 14 points and four assists. Madison Vice added 12 points and three steals while Kanyla Tyler totaled 10 points and four assists.
In the rebounding department, Brooke Rebman had nine and Jam Thigpen grabbed four.
Siena Heights trailed 31-28 at halftime before taking a 40-37 lead into the fourth quarter.
Visiting Aquinas (2-4, 1-0) was behind 48-45 before going on a 14-2 run, going ahead for good.
Aquinas went 7 of 10 from the free-throw line during the final two minutes. Three-pointers by Won pulled the Saints within 59-53 with 16 seconds left and, then, 62-58 with seven seconds left, but SHU was unable to pull any closer.
The Saints will return to action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. WHAC game at Michigan-Dearborn.
