ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team earned a 76-53 victory over WHAC opponent Defiance in its home opener Tuesday at the SHU Fieldhouse.
E'Anna Won led the Saints (2-1, 1-0) with 15 points and four steals while Sarrinah Ajami put in 11.
Alexx Braddock and Aubree Meyer made seven and five rebounds, respectively, for SHU.
Siena Heights never trailed after opening the game on a 9-0 run. The Saints outscored Defiance, 28-9, in the first quarter. Ajami and Brooke Rebman scored seven points each in the first.
SHU's largest lead was 18 points in the fourth quarter.
The Saints will return to play on Saturday with a 6 p.m. non-conference game against Indiana-South Bend.
