ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights softball team swept a non-conference doubleheader against Ohio Christian, 5-4 and 9-4, on Wednesday at Christensen Memorial Softball Field.

The Saints (10-6) will return to action Thursday with a WHAC doubleheader against Concordia, beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Liberti Fair's swinging-bunt single plated Faith Breinager from second base as Siena Heights won in walk-off fashion.

Fair batted 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI while younger sister Emma Fair went 2-for-3 with a run.

Faith Breinager added two runs scored and a stolen base. Ellie Thelen tripled.

Shyann Truax was the winning pitcher. She was charged with only one earned run on six hits while totaling four strikeouts and two walks.

SHU opened the scoring on an RBI single by Liberti Fair in the first inning before OCU took a 3-1 lead in the third.

Breinager and Emma Fair scored on wild pitches during the third and fourth innings, respectively, to even the score at 3-3.

Ohio Christian retook the lead in the fifth, going up 4-3, before an RBI triple by Thelen tied the contest in the bottom half of the inning.

That set the stage for Liberti Fair's two-out game-winner in the seventh. The left-handed hitter hit a nubber out in front of home plate and raced to first base. After a no-throw to first, Breinager scored after she was awarded home plate via obstrution.
