The Siena Heights Softball Team spent some time playing basketball with members of the HOPE Community Center on Tuesday night.
In what has become an annual winter event, the softball team heads to the HOPE Community Center and plays against the Hope Hoopsters Basketball Team for a fun filled spirited basketball game.
The HOPE Community Center has been providing services for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities since their inception in 1976. HOPE provides the environment for HOPE Members to be themselves in a safe and supportive environment. The provide unique and meaningful opportunities in education, recreation, socialization, and volunteering for people with disabilities. The programs include things such as daily living skills, adaptive fitness, community outings, volunteer projects and technology based learning.
