GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights softball team lost twice to Aquinas in WHAC action, 9-1 and 4-0, on Wednesday.

The Saints (15-25) will return to play on Thursday with a 3:30 p.m. WHAC doubleheader at Madonna.

Game one: Aquinas 9, Siena Heights 1 (5 innings)

Kat Moreau (double) and Courtnee Chappetta had two hits each for the Saints. Ally Frank added a double.

The Saints plated their only run in the fifth on an RBI single by Shyann Truax.

Game two: Aquinas 4, Siena Heights 0

Schellenberger had a double for the Saints.

Truax recorded 3 2/3 scoreless innings in the pitcher's circle and recorded seven strikeouts.
