
ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights softball team lost two games to WHAC opponent Northwestern Ohio, 9-0 and 9-1, on Sunday at Christensen Memorial Softball Field.
The Saints (11-17, 2-8) will play again on Monday with a 3:30 p.m. WHAC doubleheader at Cornerstone.
Game one: Northwestern Ohio 9, Siena Heights 0
Shyann Truax had two hits, including a double. She also started in the pitcher's circle, allowing five earned runs on 12 hits while recording three strikeouts.
Game two: Northwestern Ohio 9, Siena Heights 1
Sydnee Hazlett had a double and Julia Hogston drew a bases-loaded walk for the Saints' lone run.
Jordan Green was the starting pitcher, giving up six earned runs on 11 hits. She had two strikeouts and one walk.
