Siena Heights softball player Faith Breinager was named WHAC Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday.

Breinager led the Saints to a 6-2 week in conference play. She had three go-ahead RBI that put SHU ahead for good -- twice against Lawrence Tech and once against Lourdes.

On the week, the freshman shortstop batted .550 with a .565 on-base percentage and .650 slugging percentage. Breinager collected 10 RBI, scored eight runs, doubled twice and stole one base. Six of her RBI came with two outs.

During SHU's comeback win over Cornerstone, Breinager slid in with the game-tying run during the seventh on a suicide squeeze.
