Siena Heights junior softball player Kelsey Uhl was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) softball pitcher of the week by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Uhl won both games she pitched - one being a 1-0 shutout win in which she allowed only two hits while striking out six. She had a perfect game through four before an error broke up that streak followed by a single hit in both the fifth and sixth innings. Her second game would have been another shutout without three unearned runs in one inning. Allowed nine hits in the second start, striking out one. In fourteen innings pitched - struck out a total of seven and got another 23 ground ball outs.

This is Kelsey's second WHAC Pitcher of the week award of her collegiate career, first this season. 

Uhl will lead the Saints against Spring Arbor on Wednesday, March 17 for a doubleheader that begins at 3:30 p.m.
