
MARION, Ind. -- Tyler Landis was the top Siena Heights runner with a 28th-place finish as the Saints men's cross country team opened its season at Indiana Wesleyan's Twilight Invitational on Friday.
Landis ran the 8-kilometer course in 26 minutes, 52 seconds, as SHU placed 19th among 22 teams. The Saints scored a 555. Taylor won the Invitational with 62 points, led by Joel Mumaw's time of 25:16.
The Saints will return to action on Friday, Sept. 20, at The Lansing CC Invitational.
