Men's Lacrosse Falls To Madonna in WHAC Opener

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team opened WHAC play Saturday with a 22-7 loss against Madonna at O'Laughlin Stadium.

Sean Jablonski led the Saints (5-2, 0-1) with three goals. Brandon Hammer added two goals while Murdoch Bech and Beau DeLauter scored one goal each.

Wissink and Nathan Staley made two assists apiece. Bech also had an assist. Wissink and Joe Turner picked up five groundballs.

In goal, Jakob Moske totaled 14 saves.

The visiting Crusaders (8-3, 1-0) never looked back after opening the contest on a 6-0 run.

Siena Heights will return to action on Wednesday with a 5 p.m. game at WHAC opponent Lawrence Tech.
