MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -- The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team held on for a 10-9 victory over non-conference opponent Mount Vernon Nazarene on Saturday.
Murdoch Bech and Brandon Hammer finished with two goals and one assist each. Joey Keck also had two goals. Single goals were recorded by Gio Marino, Ethan Wissink, Nathan Staley and Lachlan Conway.
Conway also made two assists while Sean Jablonski and Noah Hassenrik added solo helpers.
Joe Turner picked up five groundballs and caused two turnovers.
Winning goalie Jakob Moske finished with 15 saves.
The Saints (5-1) held a 10-5 lead in the fourth quarter before the host Cougars trimmed the margin to one.
SHU will return to play on Saturday, Mar. 29, with a 1 p.m. WHAC home game against Madonna.
