15 Football Saints Honored by NAIA

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes award.  The Siena Heights Football Program had fifteen student-athletes earn these distinctions.

In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.

Earning the award for the Saints was:

Walter Baughman (1st time), senior, business major from Beverly Hills, Michigan

Eric Finke (2nd time), junior, business major from Cincinnati, Ohio

Jack Fitzgerald (3rd time), senior, business major from Sandusky, Ohio

Jalal Habash (1st time), junior, business major from Sterling Heights, Michigan

Cayden Hankins (1st time), junior, business major from Cleveland, Ohio

Wyatt Howe (3rd time), senior, nursing major from Mason, Michigan

Zach Keyser (3rd time), senior, business major from Battle Creek, Michigan

Wadiah Lakatos (2nd time), junior, accounting major from Toledo, Ohio

Joshua Mack (2nd time), junior, business major from Napoleon, Ohio

David Medvedik (1st time), junior, business major from St. Claire, Michigan

Zachary Mullins (2nd time), junior, business major from Macomb, Michigan

Weston Palmer (3rd time), senior, accounting major from Flint, Michigan

Tanner Rubenstien, (2nd time), junior, business major from Napoleon, Ohio

Elijah Taylor (1st time), junior, business major from Warren, Ohio

Jacen Torres (2nd time), junior, business major from Flint, Michigan
