
ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights football team dropped its home finale to third-ranked Indiana Wesleyan during Saturday's MSFA Mideast contest at O'Laughlin Stadium.
Quarterback Elijah Taylor threw two touchdown passes, finishing 15 of 34 for 214 yards. Wide receiver Tendaji Alexander totaled four receptions for 77 yards and wideout Troy West II finished with two grabs for 44.
Taylor's touchdown throws were caught by Chris Coleman (18 yards) and Riley Dunbar (nine yards). Those were scored after SHU trailed 31-0 in the fourth quarter.
Linebacker Jack Howey led the defense with 11 tackles while fellow LBs Tanner Rubinstein and Clarke Hamilton made 10 stops each. Defensive back Jack Fitzgerald had an interception and defensive lineman Jayden Giles recovered a fumble.
The Saints (2-7, 1-3) will finish their season Saturday, Nov. 16, with an MSFA Mideast game at Madonna.
