Siena Heights football player Brendan Haisenleder was named MSFA Midwest League Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league on Monday.

Haisenleder had a SHU single-game record of 199 yards rushing during the Saints' 52-7 victory at Defiance. Two of his 19 carries were touchdowns.

Haisenleder also had one reception for eight yards.

Before Haisenleder's 199-yard effort, the previous record was a 198-yard game by Kaleb Jefferson on Sept. 29, 2019. Jefferson had 17 carries and three TDs in a 63-2 win against Trinity International.
