ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights football team lost its season opener to Taylor, 34-28, in MSFA Mideast action on Thursday night at O'Laughlin Stadium.

The Saints trailed by 21 points in the opening half before chipping away in the third and fourth quarters.

Prather's touchdown receptions were from 10 and four yards out in the second half. His TD with 1:56 in the fourth quarter pulled the Saints within a touchdown, but SHU never regained possession after that.
