Siena Heights junior kicker Anthony Secchi was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast special teams player of the week when the league office announced the award winners on Monday afternoon.
Secchi had a great day in the season finale for the Saints. He led the team in points with 15 as he was a perfect 3/3 in field goals and 6/6 in extra points. Secchi finished his junior campaign going 12/14 in field goal attempts with a season-long of 44 yards while making 24 of his 26 extra-point kicks.
This is Secchi's first MSFA Mideast special teams player of the week award of his career. It is the second weekly award for the Siena Heights football program for the 2021 season.
