
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Siena Heights Competitive Dance Program had four student-athletes earn this distinction.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
Ayanna Johnson, (1st time), junior, law and politics major from Battle Creek, Michigan
Lydia Kirk (1st time), sophomore, musical theater major from Gaylord, Michigan
Kaitlyn LaVoy (1st time), sophomore, business major and communication minor with a concentration in marketing from Temperance, Michigan
Hannah Smith (1st time), sophomore, psychology major from Attica, Michigan
