SOUTHFIELD, Mich -- The Siena Heights dance team compiled a final score of 77.10 to finish in second place at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Championships on Friday night. The Saints had round scores of 76.50 and 77.30 to claim the second spot in the team standings.
Aquinas won the WHAC title with a final tally of 82.08. SHU edged out Madonna who claimed third with a 74.33. Fourth place went Lawrence Tech who ended the night with a score of 57.26. Concordia finished out the results with a 44.40 for fifth place.
The WHAC awards were handed out during the competition last night. Sydney Bramlett and Rafe Jacobs were both first-team All-WHAC while Logan Richardson was second-team All-WHAC. Sierra Tennyson, Emma Winter, Bramlett, and Richardson were WHAC All-Academic. Tennyson was also the SHU representative on the WHAC Champions of Character team.
This is the final regular-season competition on the schedule for the Siena Heights dance team. The NAIA National Championships are scheduled to take place on March 11 and 12.
