MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Former Siena Heights assistant baseball coach Eric Theisen will join Major League Baseball's Milwaukee Brewers as a hitting coach for the 2025 season.
Theisen, an assistant for the Saints in 2009, has been a hitting coach in the Brewers' system for the last four seasons. He most recently worked with the Triple-A Nashville Sounds. While with the Brewers, Theisen will assist lead hitting coach Al LeBoeuf.
Theisen, son of former SHU baseball coach Gordie Theisen (1989-2003), grew up local to Siena Heights and graduated from Adrian High School in 2003.
Eric Theisen played collegiately at NCAA Division I program Illinois State and is still ranked No. 3 in all-time pitching appearances (86), tied for eighth in wins (19) and ninth in innings pitched (265). He was All-Missouri Valley Second Team in 2008 and All-Missouri Valley Honorable Mention in 2005.
Theisen's collegiate coaching career took him to Hillsdale where he worked for 11 years, including eight as head coach (2014-21), before accepting a job in the Brewers' organization.
