
CANTON, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's and women's ice hockey teams signed their first players to letters of intent earlier this January at Arctic Edge, the future playing location of SHU hockey.
All four signees are current student-athletes at Concordia before the Cardinals program discontinues at the end of 2024-25 school year.
The incoming student-athletes include:
WOMEN
Rose Lennon, sophomore, goalie, Richmond, Que.
Lennon has appeared in 27 games for Concordia, compiling a 10-14 record. She has recorded four shutouts and holds a 2.97 goals-against average.
Dylan Hubbard, freshman, forward, Saint Clair, Mich.
Hubbard has played in 19 games for CUAA, totaling one goal and one assist.
MEN
Braden Yurkunas, sophomore, forward, Trenton, Mich.
The first Michigander to sign with the SHU men, Yurkunas is from the Downriver area. He has one goal in 17 games played in 2024-25.
Connor Carroll, sophomore, goalie, Stittsville, Ont.
Carroll has made seven starts in 2024-25 and recorded his first collegiate win and shutout in a season-opening victory over Oakland.
