The following is inscribed on Stephanie Casida's (Schaffran) Hall of Fame Plaque:

A four-year starting defender, Schaffran was a two-time All-Conference selection for the Saints.  Schaffran anchored a defense that recorded 61 shutouts during her career.  The Saints scored 274 goals and allowed only 49 during Schaffran’s career, and they had an overall record of 72 wins, 14 losses, and three ties in that four-year span.  Schaffran was a 1st Team All-Conference player for the Saints in her junior and senior seasons and was named to the NAIA Honorable Mention All-America team as a senior in 2002.  Also in 2002, the Saints won the WHAC regular-season title and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament by winning the Region VIII tournament.  That season the Saints had a 21-2-1 overall record and were ranked #11 in the NAIA National poll.  Seeded #10 in the national tournament, the Saints were eliminated in penalty kicks by #7-seed Park University in the first round of the national tournament.  It was the first trip to the national tournament in twelve years for the Saints; Schaffran and her teammates brought the women’s soccer program back to national prominence.
