The following was printed on Todd Boike's HOF plaque:
A hard-throwing right-hander, Todd Boike helped pitch the Saints to their only NAIA World Series appearance as a senior in 1994. Boike holds SHU career records in innings pitched (302), wins (20) and strike outs (182). He also ranks in the top 10 in complete games with nine during his four-year career.
During the Saints’ “Cinderella” postseason run that included WHAC and Regional Tournament titles, Boike tossed 107 innings (a single-season record) and struck out 74 hitters (2nd all-time in Saints’ history). Boike signed a free agent contract with the Montreal Expos in 1995 and pitched for the Expos’ rookie league team in the Gulf Coast League.
