The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) held their National Awards Day for the 2023-2024 academic year. Among the awards released were the Scholar Team Awards. Siena Heights had twenty of their eligible twenty-five, or 80% of their teams recognized with this award. In order to qualify for the award, teams must earn at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average with all student athletes who compete in a varsity contest at any point in the season counted in their total.
The Saints saw eight of their programs place in the top 25 in their respective sport, with three of those programs placing in the top five of their sport. Leading the way for the Saints was the women's lacrosse team. They led all NAIA Women's Lacrosse teams with a 3.75 GPA. The men's lacrosse team followed suit, placing 2nd in all NAIA Men's Lacrosse teams with a 3.31 GPA. Rounding out the top five finishers was the women's bowling team who place 4th among Women's Bowling teams with a 3.64 GPA.
The other top 25 finishers in their respective sports were the Women's Volleyball team (11th, 3.71 GPA), the Women's Soccer team (12th, 3.66 GPA), the Baseball team (21st, 3.37 GPA), the Competitive Dance team (22nd, 3.33 GPA), and the Competitive Cheer team (22nd, 3.30 GPA).
The other Saints' programs which were recognized were Women's Cross Country (3.58 GPA), Softball (3.47 GPA), Women's Golf (3.44 GPA), Women's Indoor Track & Field (3.31 GPA), Women's Basketball (3.31 GPA), Women's Outdoor Track & Field (3.31 GPA), Men's Indoor Track & Field (3.19 GPA), Men's Outdoor Track & Field (3.19 GPA), Men's Soccer (3.13 GPA), Men's Bowling (3.13 GPA), Men's Cross Country (3.11 GPA), and Men's Volleyball (3.09 GPA).
