Six Saints Honored at Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2022 Daktronics NAIA Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athletes on Monday. Dordt (Iowa) led the way with 17 honorees. Concordia (Neb.) finished a close second with 14.

The 2022 list features 609 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.

Earning the award for the Saints was:

Alexis Cordle (2nd time), senior, biology major and chemistry minor from Perrysburg, Ohio

Brooke Hildebrandt (1st time), sophomore, biology major from Adrian, Michigan

Emily Kilpatrick (1st time), sophomore, biology major from Onsted, Michigan

Emily Monroe (2nd time), senior, biology and chemistry major from Milan, Michigan

Morgan Turk (3rd time), senior, accounting major from Lapeer, Michigan

Isabelle Uganski (1st time), junior environmental science major and biology minor from Whitehall, Michigan
