Women’s Cross Country Places 25th at Great Lakes Challenge

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's cross country team placed 25th at the Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Saturday. The Saints tallied 598 points to claim their placing in the team standings.

Taylor won the race with a score of 46. St. Mary (Kansas) was second with 126, three points ahead of Cornerstone. St. Francis (Ill.) was fourth with 161, while Huntington rounded out the top five with 202.

Xochitl Garcia led the way for SHU with a time of 19:23 to finish 73rd on the individual leaderboard. Emily Monroe was 105th with a time of 19:54. Morgan Turk finished the race in 20:34 for 149th. Brooke Hildebrandt was 151st with a time of 20:38. Brianna Martin finished 164th in 20:56, and Bridgette Dudley was 168th with a finish of 20:59. Ryann Jibson ended the scoring for Siena Heights with a 177th placing after a finish of 21:11.
