TOLEDO, Ohio – The Siena Heights women's cross country team won the Terracotta Invitational hosted by Lourdes in Toledo, Ohio. The Saints won the invitational with a score of 36 to earn the first team victory of the 2022 season.
Siena Heights had nine points less than second-place Madonna. Michigan-Dearborn was third with 60 points. Lourdes was fourth with 94 points to finish on the team leaderboard.
SHU had the top-two finishers in the women's 5K race. Xochitl Garcia won the event with a time of 20:14.7. Emily Monroe completed the race behind Garcia with a time of 20:29.7. Morgan Turk recorded a time of 21:24.9 to finish 10th. Brooke Hildebrandt placed 12th with a time of 21:30.4. Bailey McCulloch was 13th with a 21:42.9, while Bridgette Dudley was 15th with a finish of 21:52.6. The final individual finish that contributed to points was Brianna Martin's 16th-place finish with a time of 21:53.2.
