Women's Cross Country Finishes Seventh at Bethel Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Siena Heights women's cross country team ran at the Bethel Invitational hosted by Bethel University on Friday afternoon. The Saints ran a 5K and finished 7th out of 15 teams with a total team score of 211 and a team average time of 21:02.

TOP SAINTS

Sophomore Xochitl Garcia (Bronson, Mich.) led Siena Heights with a time of 19:53 and placed 22nd overall. Junior Rachel Wiltse (Leslie, Mich.) finished with a time of 20:49 placing second on the team and 36th overall. Sophomore Brianna Martin (Grayling, Mich.) placed 41st overall with a time of 21:02 for third on the team. Sophomore Emily Monroe (Milan, Mich.) finished fourth on the team with a time of 21:32 for 51st place overall.  Sophomore Alexis Cordle (Curtice, Ohio) finished with a time of 21:50 placing 61st overall and finishing fifth on the team.
