ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights Women's Cross Country team hosted the Siena Heights Invitation at Heritage Park on Saturday Morning. The Saints ran a 5k and won the meet our of three teams with a team score of 30 and a top-five average time of 20:27.58.
TOP SAINTS
Sophomore Xochitl Garcia (Bronson, Mich.) led Siena Heights with a time of 19:27.18 and placed fourth overall. Junior Rachel Wiltse (Leslie, Mich.) finished right behind Garcia with a time of 20:16.55 placing second on the team. Sophomore Emily Monroe (Milan, Mich.) was behind Wiltse as she finished third on the team with a time of 20:32.68 for sixth place. Sophomore Brianna Martin (Grayling, Mich.) placed seventh behind Monroe with a time of 20:35.97 for fourth on the team. Sophomore Alexis Cordle (Curtice, Ohio) finished behind Martin with a time of 21:25.51 placing fifth on the team.
