Four total members of the Siena Heights women's cross country team were recognized as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the NAIA recently.

The honorees include seniors Lauren McMahon and Mariah Ridal, along with juniors Amber Koprin and Kristin Stobinski. All four athletes were also recognized as All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Academic athletes.

In order to be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status. A total of 335 women were recognized.
