The women's cross country team did very well this season. SHU tied second with Cornerstone in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship. The Saints went to the NAIA Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina and placed 27th out of 30.
There were five Saints honored by the WHAC this season. Elaine Johnson and Ashley Russo were named All-WHAC Honorable Mention.
Johnson, Lucia Alfaro and Kristin Stobinski were named to the All-WHAC Academic team and Erica Oram received the Champions of Character award.
Johnson and Stobinski were also named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
