GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The 25th-ranked Siena Heights women's cross country team had three runners place in the Top 40 as it finished fifth among 29 teams at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge on Saturday.

Ashley Russo finished the 5K course in 19:31, Elaine Johnson took 23rd in 19:38 and Kristin Stobinski came in 38th in 20:02 for the Saints.

Also scoring, Lucia Alfaro was 70th in 20:36 and Lauren McMahon ran to 72nd in 20:40.

As a team, the Saints had 187 points. Team champ Aquinas accumulated 55 points.

The top finisher was Alex Berends of Taylor (Ind.). She won the race in 18:20.
