LANSING, Mich. -- Elaine Johnson and Ashley Russo recorded Top-10 finishes as the 23rd-ranked Siena Heights women's cross country team placed second among 22 teams at the Lansing Invitational on Friday. A total of 144 runners competed.

Johnson was sixth in 18:56 on the 5K course and Russo finished ninth in 19:15 for the Saints.

Also, Lucia Alfaro took 15th in 19:31, Kristin Stobinski crossed 16th in 19:32 and Lauren McMahon placed 21st in 19:47.

Hannah Shellenbarger added a 40th-place run in 20:32 and Ruth Ann Letherer took 42nd in 20:37.
