LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Ashley Russo placed 173rd and Elaine Johnson was 206th as the Siena Heights women's cross country team's two participants at the NAIA Championships, which took place at Rim Rock Farm. A total of 336 runners competed.

Russo ran the 5-kilometer course in 19:53.90 while Johnson navigated the farm in 20:10.80.

The individual race was won by British Columbia's Maria Bernard, who clocked in at 17:03.80. British Columbia also won the team national championship with 43 points. A total of 38 squads competed in team competition.
