BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Siena Heights women's wrestler Bo Geibe placed runner-up and became the first student-athlete in program history to earn All-MSC honors on Friday at the Mid-South Conference Championships. In team scoring, the Saints placed fifth.

Geibe had a 2-1 record on the day, ultimately falling in the 170-pound weight class final. She was named All-MSC Second Team.

Teammates Stefany Perez (116) and Phoenix Waters (143) had fourth-place finishes while Valeria Ahumada (109) and Karlie Harlow (191) took fifth in their respective weight classes.

Geibe, rated No. 7 at 170 in the NAIA, had nothing but ranked opponents in her path. She pinned Cumberlands' Saiheron Preciado-Meza before getting her hand raised via forfeit against No. 2 Margaret Graham of Life.

Geibe lost by decision in the finals to Cumberlands' Chamira Cooper, 5-2.

Perez was 3-2 on the mat at MSCs. Each match she was involved in had sudden finishes: four pinfalls and one tech fall. Perez had three of those pins. She defeated Saint Andrews' Jillian Ellis (:41), Indiana Tech's Riley Horvath (2:50) and Lourdes' Genesis Diaz (2:35).

Ahumada, No. 15 at 109, had a 2-2 record at MSCs. Both of her wins came via pinfall as she defeated Brewton-Parker's Tashayle West (2:48) and Indiana Tech's Allison Hancher (2:40).

Karlie Harlow was 1-2 in her matches, taking a pinfall against Campbellsville's Lexiana Garcia in :45.

Waters' victory was a hand-raise opposite No. 2 Emma Walker of Campbellsville via injury default.
