Women's Volleyball Overcomes Early Deficit in 3-1 Win over UNOH

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Taylor Wegener powered the Siena Heights women's volleyball team with 16 kills as the Saints took a 3-1 win over WHAC opponent Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday. Set scores, in favor of the Saints, were 22-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-16.

Aubrey Bates added 33 assists and 18 digs while Payton Osborne and Jessica Holsapple totaled 20 and 17 digs, respectively. Kinsey Wagner finished with nine kills and four blocks.

SHU fell behind through one set before bouncing back to claim the next three.

The Saints took a 6-1 lead in the second, never trailing after that. They trailed 22-21 in the third before closing on a 4-1 stretch and then enjoyed a 15-2 stretch in the third to command the fourth.

The Saints (20-7, 12-5) will be in action next on Saturday when Lourdes visits the SHU Fieldhouse for a 5 p.m. start.
