GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 contest to WHAC opponent Aquinas on Saturday. Set scored, in favor of Aquinas (23-4, 11-1), were 25-20, 17-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Aubrey Bates made 27 assists, Payton Osborne totaled 15 digs and Kadie Carsten finished with four total blocks for the Saints (17-6, 9-4).

Sloppy play doomed SHU in each of the three sets it lost. The Saints made 10 errors in the first set and then eight in both the third and fourth sets. The one set that went SHU's way was the second, when SHU committed only two miscues.

Siena Heights will return to action on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. visit to WHAC opponent Rochester.
